With the aim of ensuring that every eligible beneficiary gets the benefits of the social security schemes of the Punjab government, MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu from the Vidhan Sabha constituency Atam Nagar provided old age pension to about 100 beneficiaries at his local Gill Canal office.
MLA Sidhu said that along with the immediate resolution of the problems of the residents of the constituency, the process of delivering the benefits of various social security schemes to their homes will also be ensured.
He appealed to the people to take maximum benefit of the various schemes issued by the government as only the active participation of the people can make this initiative successful.
MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu appealed to the eligible persons for old age pension and said that they can contact the District Social Security Office or their personal office with their Aadhaar number, bank account number, two passport-size photographs so that maximum benefit of this scheme can be taken.
He said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to bringing the benefits of various schemes launched by the government to the people at their doorsteps.
