Fauja Singh, who despite being 112 years old, has set world records through his runs in the past and has been a popular runner till his last days, is extremely sad and regrettable that he died in an accident recently. He said that it is also a matter of great negligence and shame for the current governments that despite being a world-class runner, no high responsibility was being taken for his protection. He said very seriously that if the life of a famous runner is not safe, then what is the guarantee for the life of a common citizen? In conclusion, he said that on the sad demise of Fauja Singh, we offer our floral tributes and pray to Almighty God to grant the family the strength to bear this grief.
