Rajinder Kaur of village Chatha Nanhera in block Sunam of Sangrur district is successfully cultivating crops in the two and a half acres of land that belonged to her in-laws, taking the knowledge and experience of farming inherited from her parents. In the beginning, he used to take care of his household expenses by doing traditional wheat-paddy farming, but he decided to do something unique along with farming. He took training in making clothes washers from his district agronomy center and started working. His work went well, but the problem in this work was that the chemicals used in this work got into the ground and started spoiling it and the amount of poison in the agricultural products started increasing. He gave this matter a very serious thought and as a result he stopped making surf powder forever and started paying full attention to the health of his land. Then he made all his farming completely organic.
