A petition filed by MP Amritpal Singh from Khadoor Sahib seeking to attend the session of Parliament has been heard. The hearing was held in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, in which the Central Government has filed its reply. The Central Government has informed the High Court in the case of Amritpal Singh. In which it has been said that the Lok Sabha Speaker has constituted a committee to examine the leave applications of all the absent Lok Sabha members including Amritpal Singh. Now the committee will examine all these cases. Amritpal Singh’s lawyer R.S. Bains could not appear due to illness. Time has been sought from the court for argument. Taking the reply given by the Central Government on record, the High Court has adjourned the hearing of the case till next week. Now the hearing will be held next week.
