“S. Jagjit Singh Dallewal, the farmer leader who has been on a fast unto death for the past 56 days at Khanauri border to implement the MSP of the crops of the landlords, the Swaminathan report, to waive the loans of the farmers and the big rich and to fulfill other demands, is not only raising his voice for justice in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir etc., but the voice of this farmer struggle is also being implemented ser
iously and sympathetically among the Punjabis and Sikhs living in European countries like America, Canada, keeping in mind this farmer’s suffering. There, a strong opinion is also being formed in the governments of these countries against the gross injustice being done to the farmers of Punjab and India at the government level. But due to the lack of practical unity of the farmers’ union, where many questions are raised on this struggle, the IAS officer is also working with the farmer leaders. The delegation sent by the officials to end the fast to death of S. Jagjit Singh Dallewal and resolve the farmers’ issues, under the talks held, about 111 farmers sitting on the fast to death have ended their fast to death and with the consent of S. Dallewal, February 14 has been set for the next talks.
Of course, the farmer leaders are confident that the Modi government will accept the farmers’ demands and the issues will be resolved. On this issue, all Punjabi, Sikh landlords, and laborers were worried about the precious life of S. Jagjit Singh Dallewal. Who has been cured by taking medical help from them through talks and eliminating that risk. But even after this situation has been cured, there has been a doubt among all the strugglers, Punjabis and Sikhs that why a long time of one month has been kept for concluding the talks, will the rulers not betray the farmers like the farmers’ struggle in Delhi?
This idea was expressed by S. Simranjit Singh Mann, President Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), expressed his concern over the talks between S. Jagjit Singh Dallewal and S. Jagjit Singh Dallewal on farmers’ issues, which led to the end of the fast of 111 farmers and S. Jagjit Singh Dallewal getting proper medical assistance and also giving 1 month time for talks by the S. Dallewal authorities. He appealed to S. Dallewal and other farmers’ leaders to clarify the doubts raised by Punjabis and Sikhs that the S. Dallewal authorities will not betray them again like the Delhi farmers’ struggle.
He said that when the S. Dallewal authorities are sincere in fulfilling and accepting the farmers’ demands, S. By giving a long time of 1 month to talk to Jagjit Singh Dallewal and other farmer leaders, it seems that the government will not do any injustice or deception to the farmers again and will not conspire to hurt the ongoing farmers’ struggle which has reached a critical point at this time? Therefore, S. Dallewal, whose seriousness towards his struggle is not in question, but in order to remove the doubts raised by him, it is necessary that he clearly clarify the facts of the conversation with the representatives of the Setter and the questions raised regarding the one-month gap to the entire farmer-laborer, Punjabis, Sikh community so that this struggle for farmers’ issues can reach its final decision in a proper manner. No kind of shame should arise again among the struggling class Punjabis and Sikhs. He expressed the hope that S. Dallewal and all other farmer leaders will remove these obstacles in a proper manner. So that there may be no illusions or misunderstandings about this serious issue in the minds and souls of the entire Punjabi and Sikh community regarding the farmers’ struggle.
